Be a Mentor

Do you remember what it was like to be a student and wondering how to get the most from your time at Clarkson? Through the Alumni/Student Mentor Program, you can volunteer to provide answers to questions that will make their time on campus more enjoyable and also share advice on topics that are of interest to you.

Help students find the information they need to make informed decisions and move in a positive direction.
Follow these steps to set up your mentoring profile so that students can access your information and contact you. It only takes a few moments.

1. E-mail career@clarkson.edu and ask for an Alumni mentor user name and password.
2. Go to E-Recruiting.
3. Log into the system using the supplied user name and password.
4. Fill in all of the profile screens.
5. You're now registered on eRecruiting as an Alumni Mentor Volunteer.

(Note: You may or may not be contacted in the coming months by students, as it depends on which students access and use the program. However, the more alumni we have in the system, the more options our students have for seeking advice.)
