Student Privacy Policy

Clarkson University Career Center uses a web-based program branded as KnightLink and utilizes the NACElink Network, a national, web-based system to assist employers in recruiting college students and alumni for all types of employment.  NACElink is owned and operated by the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) and the website, KnightLink, which contains student data residing on NACElink Network servers.

Students and alumni registering and submitting their resume through KnightLink are certifying that the information is truthful and accurate and reflects the values of Clarkson University.  Those found to be providing false information will be made ineligible for the services of KnightLink.  By using the KnightLink services of Clarkson University Career Center, you are allowing the release of your resume and certain employment related information of a personal and professional nature to potential employers who use KnightLink and NACElink.

The Clarkson University Career Center staff will use their best efforts to verify that only employers acting in good faith are given the password for accessing KnightLink services to list vacancies, access resumes, schedule interviews and information sessions and attend career fairs to meet with student and alumni subscribers.

Jobs posted on the KnightLink and NACElink systems may or may not be screened before posting.  Users are urged to validate job postings and use caution and common sense when applying.  Do not disclose social security numbers, credit card information or bank account numbers.

While NACE and Clarkson University Career Center endeavor to restrict access to this data base to eligible employers, NACE and Clarkson University Career Center cannot guarantee that other parties will not, without our consent, gain access to the data base.
