Opportunities
ES&P Students have a wide range of internship options. Students have worked for New York's Department of Environmental Conservation (both in legal affairs and educational outreach), The Nature Conservancy, The Army Corps of Engineers, Ducks Unlimited, Atlantic Testing, U.S. Fish and Wildlife, and the New York State Assembly Internship Program. They have also participated in summer research on campus.
Students in the ES&P Program also take advantage of educational programs at other institutions. Our students have participated in programs at Columbia University's Biosphere 2 program, and the Semester in Environmental Science at the Marine Biological Laboratory in Woods Hole, Massachusetts.
ES&P Graduates are finding job opportunities in numerous places. Our graduates have worked at-or are currently employed with-Ducks Unlimited, Northern Ecological Associates, Morrison-Knudsen, New York City Department of Environmental Protection, Dynamac, the U.S. Park Service, and Hamilton College.
ES&P Students have continued their education at Albany Law School, RIT, SUNY's School of Environmental Science and Forestry and the University of Arizona, among others.
