Leadership Giving Society
Each year, alumni, parents and friends who share a commitment to Clarkson’s growing distinction join the Leadership Giving Society by making a leadership gift of $1,500 or more. This special distinction is our way of acknowledging your generous support and thanking you for your belief in the University’s mission and your commitment to our students.
Unrestricted leadership gifts help to ensure Clarkson’s success. The University is profoundly grateful to members of the Leadership Giving Society, who make exceptional gifts on an annual basis and set an important example that encourages unrestricted annual giving to Clarkson University.

Here are just a few examples of how your unrestricted leadership gifts to the Clarkson Fund make a difference every day:Thomas S. Clarkson Society $50,000 and above
Last year, a new Getinge Model 522LS Gravity Steam Sterilizer was purchased for the Biology Department. Both students and faculty use the autoclave while conducting research. (1 autoclave = $52,000)
Sandstone Society $25,000 to $49,999
Students now have access to comprehensive academic support services in the new Student Success Center, which offers tutoring, academic counseling, advising services and accommodations for students with disabilities. (Cost to establish the new Student Success Center = $33,000)
1896 Society $10,000 to $24,999
Every year, unrestricted dollars, budgeted to general financial aid, help provide financial aid packages to deserving students. (Average Clarkson award portion of one incoming student’s financial aid package = $18,000)
The Hill Society $5,000 to $9,999
One of the classrooms in the new Technology Advancement Center was equipped with a PC, DVD player and projector system, enabling technology integration into the curriculum. (Technology enabled classroom = $5,000)
Golden Knight Society $2,500 to $4,999
The library purchased an online subscription to the Journal of the ACM (Association for Computing Machinery), which provides coverage of the most significant work going on in computer science. (Online subscription to Journal of the ACM = $3,800)
Roundtable Society $1,500 to $2,499
The University continues to expand wireless areas across campus, giving students and faculty more wireless access than ever before. (Expansion of 3 wireless areas on campus = $1,500)
