Scholarly Interests
Broadly speaking, Laura Ettinger's scholarly interests include the history of medicine, women's history, and modern American history. More specifically, she is interested in the history of American nurse-midwives, the culture of childbirth, gender and the professions, the structure of American health care, and oral history.
