Business Programs

At Clarkson, we don't believe in a one-major-fits-all approach to business. You may be interested in technology in the business setting. You may be drawn to e-Business. Whatever your interest, today's employers embrace graduates who have a rigorous preparation and knack for innovation. After taking our first-year business curriculum (where you can start, run, and close down your company all in nine months), you can choose to pursue one of our blended majors:

All of our majors span business boundaries, integrating all of the traditional business disciplines — Marketing, Management, Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, and Operations Management — to give you the broad combination of skills and knowledge that you will need.

At Clarkson, we get you in the game early. Many schools accept students into business degree study only in their junior year. Here, all of our freshmen are engaged in a two-semester entrepreneurial sequence designed to expose them to all facets of the business enterprise. Development of a start-up sets the context for the next three years of academics. We call it "learning business by doing business."

In addition to these undergraduate programs, Clarkson also offers graduate degrees in business.
